Orkney Self-Catering Covid-19 Update
We want to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as we can whilst also ensuring the safety of yourselves, our staff and all other guests. Due to the latest advice regarding Coronavirus we have had to slightly adjust how we operate. Unfortunately, we can no longer be there to greet you on arrival but we will ensure that your accommodation is ready for you and that any information you may require is sent to you prior to your arrival.
We kindly ask that you follow government advice and do not travel to Orkney if you have had any symptoms of Covid-19 and have not completed the correct period of self-isolation. Click here to read the current Scottish government guidance on travel
Currently, no socialising between members of different households is permitted in a private dwelling, so different households must not share holiday accommodation. Due to this, all guests booked within a property must be from the same household. Guests must not enter any property other than the one you are booked in. The rules for self-catering (including overnight stays) are in line with the private dwelling socialising rules as set out in the levels framework. All paper tourist information brochures/leaflets and some decorative items/soft furnishings such as bed throws and cushions have been removed.
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray is provided for your use within each bungalow.
We ask that all guests be mindful of keeping a 2m distance from other guests and staff whilst in the car park or outdoor areas.
Cleanliness has always been, and continues to be, a top priority here at Atlantis Lodges. Our cleaners are implementing extra measures, in line with the latest Covid-19 guidelines, to ensure that your accommodation is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your stay. To help us protect our staff, we kindly ask that you do the following on the day of your departure:
- Remove all used and unused duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases and place in the blue bag provided. Please also remove the top mattress protector and pillow protector.
- Place all used and unused towels, bath mat, tea towels and shower curtain in the blue bag provided.
- Empty all bins and remove all rubbish from your accommodation.
- Remove all unused food from your accommodation
- Open all windows in your accommodation prior to departing. If it is raining, please do not open Velux window’s too wide.
Please note – should you, or any member of your booking develop symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay and require to self isolate within our property, all additional costs incurred due to this are to be met by the guests.
